Donor information
Every day about 50 people in the state of Oregon are newly-diagnosed with cancer. In Multnomah, Clackamas and Washington counties alone, about 15 to 20 people every day are given the diagnosis of cancer. Virtually everyone has either been personally affected by cancer or has a close relative or acquaintance who has had cancer. Anyone can attest to how stressful and difficult this experience can be.
Patients can benefit from counseling services, physical therapy, exercise and nutritional counseling, as well as social services to help them cope with the diagnosis. Having access to programs such as these can make a world of difference.
The foundation also seeks to help cancer practitioners stay abreast of breakthroughs in cancer research. Patient specific educational programs will also be supported by the Foundation in hopes of keeping patients informed about current research and new treatments.
Your donations, by supporting programs like these, can help make this happen. If you are considering making a donation, we encourage you to contact Christopher Hall:
Mr. Hall is happy to meet with you to discuss the various donor options available, ranging from cash contributions or a donor-directed fund, to a charitable remainder trust.
The Bridges CD Project
The Bridges CD project shows off an exciting new face of Pacific Oncology. We asked local artists for musical offerings dedicated to cancer patients that would help provide inspiration, relaxation, comfort and support. The response was overwhelming; the superb recordings selected for this compilation include a variety of styles, including jazz, rock, country-western, new age, and folk. Each artist also provided a message tied with their recording in this one of a kind collection and we are proud to make it available to you.
Each purchase of the Bridges CD will go to support the Pacific Oncology Foundation. The CD is priced at $12.95 and is available at the each of the offices of Pacific Oncology, or online at http://cdbaby.com/cd/pacificoncology.
